Loews Philadelphia Hotel (Philadelphia, PA)
ESG reviewed existing structural framing conditions during site visits to the Regency Ballroom at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. The rigging points were already installed but a capacity was unknown. The building structural engineer of record was able to determine a capacity for the existing structural framing. ESG made a site visit to verify connections to the existing structure and lift line components below. These components were analyzed and ESG provided a capacity for the existing rigging points.

Fox Oakland Theater (Oakland, CA)
This nearly eighty year old national landmark underwent significant renovation. The reopened theater utilized a flexible configuration holding between 500 and 2,100 patrons. ESG provided a feasibility study of the building related to theatrical loads, a new rigging system, seismic considerations and the general condition of the building structural frame.

Westin Princeton Hotel (Princeton, NY)
ESG reviewed existing structural framing conditions during site visits to the Westin Princeton Hotel’s main ballroom. Due to the lack of existing structural drawings, ESG was required to take measurements of existing structural framing members and analyze them. A rigging point load layout was worked out with the owner and ESG was able to determine the magnitude of load that was acceptable for the existing structure. We also provided CAD drawings needed for permit application, showing a schematic room layout showing locations and capacities of rigging points.
